Happiness is Happiness
I’ve noticed that people belittle other people’s happiness based on what social group they are in. It may be more common in high school but this still happens in middle school as well as college on the other end of the spectrum. Regardless of this fact, people tend to see someone of a different social class(Ex: Goths, Emos, Burnouts, “Popular” people, etc.) enjoying themselves whether it be walking outside listening to music or singing out loud, and belittle their happiness or insult them because they are different and actually believe that their happiness isn’t as great as the happiness they have or share with other people. Happiness is happiness people, and its something that everyone desires to have in life. The world is filled with too much darkness, too much hatred, and way to much labeling for people to attempt to take away happiness from someone else. Do you, and do things that make YOU happy. Don’t gaze at someone else and attempt to insult their happiness
Time.
You can speed it up, you can even slow it down. But you can’t change what has been done. When you endure a hardship in life whether its by your doing or someone else’s hand, you cannot succumb to the feelings and emotions that follow. Even if someone saw the wrong second of a 2-second ordeal, your life will go on. This is a fact. Unless by chance a stray bullet pierces your heart and causes fatal internal bleeding or you suffer a heart attack, you will wake up the next morning. Blank slate, new day. Yes, the memories, the hurt, and pain and the person will continue to remain on your mind, but eventually those will dissipate. Time heals all.
